Implementation of control system managing 4 cream storage tanks including communication with pastuer and butter maker. The control syystem was build on the same software standard as has been used in the Targu Mures plant. Control system was build in the TIA portal and the vizaualization was implemented in InTouch software stack.

An example of a food production line visualization. The application was developed using SW InTouch from Wonderware. The application manages over 200 automation components and communicates with three controllers.

After a week of software standard introduction we have spent several months on debugging and tuning the milk production line. The HW design of the control system was over engineered, where individual line components had their own independent control systems. Nevertheless we have managed to fix all issues and go live.

Unlike similar engagement in Malaysia this control system also included management of sugar and citric acid management. The integration with existing four fillers and a vacuum mixer was also added. We’ve met the challenge of producing vizaualization in Chinese.

The reporting system can track a particular batch of milk throughout the whole production all the way to a final product. The customer can then identify all the production processes using a particular batch of milk (important in the case of a later identified supplier problem).

In coo[eration with Siemens Ostrava. The complete SW Wonderware System Platform (Wonderware Application Server, Wonderware Historian Server, Wonderware Information Server, InTouch) has been used to replace the current visualization system based on a Linux platform. The implementation included new visualization system design, communication components implementation and end user testing. It has been completed in 6 months. The new system includes over 40 000 I/O variables. Testing has been conducted under full power of the distribution grid.

Microsoft Visual Studio
Example of a traditional DB based application. We have developed a production efficiency evaluation system for Unilever. The historical production performance data is stored in a MS SQL server. The end user application is developed in VisualStudio 2008 and installed on 30 PCs. The application is fully customizable by the customer and doesn't require any programming skills to be customized.
Showcase of a web portal presenting historical production data. Production line output data are archived in a MS SQL database. Reports are developed in using ReportingServices.
End users with administration privileges can create new reports and publish them on the web portal. Portal navigation controls are bilingual and can be customized by the portal administrators.

DeltaV
In 2009 we've helped Emerson to commission a nitric acid production line in Rouen, France. The quality control and the control system precision required in a nitric acid production line is of the highest level.
Expansion of the main DeltaV based system to vizualize an existing production line implemented in a different crontrol system. Implemented without an outage to the production systems.

So far the biggest project we've implemented. A complete production line control in the petrochemical industry. The project duration was 15 months (from receiving the project documentation till commissioning). It included several weeks of FAT tests and SATA tests with the customer, project architects and the license owner of the production line technology.
The production line visualization was developed in DeltaV.
Replacement of RS3 based control system with an DeltaV system. Based on analysis and an out dated documentation the very old system was replaced with a brand new system developed in DeltaV. The transition was planned for a summer production break and was successfully accomplished without any incidents.
